Winery In 1967, Aimé Sabon took over his father's vineyards and founded Domaine de la Janasse, named after the family farm in Courthézon, "La Janasse." Aware of the region's potential, Aimé expanded the estate with new plots, growing from 15 hectares to 90 hectares. Since 1991, Aimé has been assisted by his son Christophe, and ten years later, his sister Isabelle also joined the team. With a mosaic of terroirs spread over more than sixty plots, Domaine de La Janasse is known for its complex blends and special cuvées such as Chaupin, Les Garrigues, Terre d'Argile, and Terre de Bussières. In just a few years, La Janasse has become a gem of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
