This wine has an intense red color, aromas of red fruit, strawberries, herbs, thyme, and rosemary, and hints of licorice and pepper, with a full body. Lledoner Pelut, a grape variety originally from Catalonia, is an old mutation of Grenache Noir. Today, there are only a few hundred hectares planted with this variety. Lledoner Pelut, Catalan for Hackberry, is a beautiful tree with small black berries that give its name to this grape.
