Winery The rich history of Pommery, a champagne house that originated in 1836 in the heart of Reims, the Champagne city. The highlight in 1868 was the purchase of a 19 km long tunnel system under Reims, once dug by Roman soldiers. Today, Clément Pierlot, as the 10th "chef de cave," leads the vinification in the extensive complex of 50 hectares in Tours-sur-Marne.
