Winery Charles's profound knowledge and respect for traditional winemaking techniques, coupled with his dedication to understanding wine culture, impart a unique identity to his wines. His red wines undergo prolonged maceration on the skins after malolactic fermentation, resulting in enhanced mouthfeel from extended contact with the lees. For the white wines, he avoids battonage and carefully vinifies and filters them for optimal stability. The striking labels, praised from their inception, are artistic, iconic, and easily recognizable. Each artwork, a collaboration between Charles and his longtime friend, artist Rikke Korff, embodies unique concepts referencing wine flavors and pairings.
